"H" Rothenberg, Chair
"H" Rothenberg has been actively involved in the Green Adventure Project since its inception in 2009. With a history as a Camp Owner & Director, Basketball Coach, Teacher, and Camp Consultant he brings expertise and experience to guide the future of Green Adventure Project.
Cat Maguire
Cat Maguire offers years of experience as an Environmental Educator and Challenge Course Facilitator. She is passionate about experiential education. Cat's wide range of experiences in the natural world, and with project based curriculum helps to continue enhancing the lives of children in the Charlottesville community.
Katie Asquith
Katie Asquith is a public interest attorney who has worked with a variety of environmental nonprofits, including developing a summer camp in West Virginia. Katie, her husband, and two children have lived in Charlottesville for eight years.
Bianca Johnson
Bianca is the Family Engagement Coordinator for Charlottesville City Schools, as well as a community Restorative Justice Facilitator for Central Virginia Community Justice. In Bianca's free time, she enjoys hanging with her dog Kona and road tripping for concerts and festivals!
Julianne Allen
Julianne spent many years being “girl Friday” at Triple C Camp as office support, counselor, tutor, challenge course and bus driver. Her experience at camp gives her a unique opportunity to support GAP School. Julianne has an ESL teaching background and is now a financial associate for a fraternal financial services company.
Andre Luck
André Luck is an educator, consultant, and administrator with over 30 years of experience in career services administration and human resource management. He is director of career services at Piedmont Virginia Community College. He was producer and host of Workforce Today, a local television program that discussed workforce issues with business leaders. He was also a preparation for employment instructor for adults. André has a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a MBA from Regent University.
Meghan Sobbott
Meghan works for the Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District as the Residential Programs Coordinator. Within this role she oversees the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program (VCAP) as well as assisting with Educational events for the District such as the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) for Albemarle County and Charlottesville City 4th Graders. She has past experience working on several organic vegetable farms in Virginia and Australia as well as briefly working for GAP as an after school teacher! In addition to her professional work, Meghan is the Vice Chair of the Natural Heritage Committee in Albemarle County."
Angie Swank
Angie has had the privilege of teaching, developing and managing Outdoor Education, Camp, & After School Programs throughout her career. She has a Master’s Degree in Science Education and believes that exploration of the natural world sparks curiosity, provides an opportunity for children to work with their peers in problem solving, and provides a deeper understanding and greater retention of content knowledge.
